This has been one of the most up and down seasons I can remember from this club. 50 games in, and I still don't know if they are good or bad or average.

A nice win but, the old 3 goal lead got the team to let of the pressure for some easy one's. The horrible PP is well as advertised and, the only way it seems to fix the power shortage is move some parts out and change the personnel as the PP has been bad for year's now and there's one thing in common...mostly the same players on the PP units.

The bottom 6 really came through today but, counting on them every game meh I don't think so. The being team on a hot streak means Imo the perfect time for a 3rd line center and, or winger that have some puck handling/passing and, a net presence which we hear on the broadcast's with regularity is a player centers and nobody home! This by moving Ruutu/Nash and Peter's or Ward if a top team might lose there starter with hopefully Miller either signed or traded and, off the market at the time JR's phone number could get real popular.

As much as anyone with sense would like to see it, don't get your hopes up in any way for a Ward trade. He and JR are tied together, the only way Ward gets moved is if JR retires/gets let go. Ward is here for the duration, no matter how terrible he's been for how long.

I disagree with his cap number and Khudobin's play you can look at the cap implications and see Ward's time in Raleigh is up this year or before July 1st anybody can understand with Khudobin you get more for less and the only way to really improve the team is trading Ward in which would give JR enough cap space to upgrade the top 9 and resign Faulk as with the attendance being down 12% this year the fans in Raleigh won't put up with mediocrity any more and Imo JR better watch his own job closely as the finger points directly to him.
